Brownies!

So, last night I made brownies! yes, it is very exciting. In my family everything has been organic and healthy for a few years because my parents are all worried like that. So, when I found out we had some brownie mix that wasn't from 4000 years ago, I immediately made them. and oh my goodness... they tasted FANTASTIC! I ate them for breakfast. very healthy of me.

...and then we went to church. We haven't gone to church in a while. It wasn't as fun as you would imagine. Someone texted me, and I hadn't put my phone on silent and everyone was praying, and BINGBLINGBINGBLINGGGGGG went my phone. I acted like I didn't hear it. Then I acted like I needed to go to the restroom to read it. It was about homework. WHAT A WASTE. better than some creepy message though, right?

Now, I must go finish my english paper. I have ONE MORE PARAGRAPH TO DO. yay!

The day of Thanks... and football. the american kind.

So, I just realized that on my first post on this blog with the url "innocentquestions", I didnt even ask a question. Boy, we are off to a bad start.

So I'm going to fix it.

My question for today is if people are truly thankful, or if we all just use this day to see family and eat other people's food.

And here is where I'm coming from... So awesome things happen all year round, and we slave over writing thank you cards we deem stupid. We loathe writing them. At least me... Anywho, then this day comes and everyone is all "HAPPY THANKSGIVING!" and often you are asked to say something you are thankful for. It's pretty clear parents say the generic, "My family and friends, my health BLAH BLAH BLAH" and then they kiddos are like, "uhmm....thankful...I'm thankful for.... my doggy, and my bed and my room, and my house and my carpet and my chair and my phone and my bathroom, and the rug in my bathroom..." and the parents politely nod their heads. Then we dig in to the food, and pretty much everyone is focused on A) Macy's Parade or B) The Purina Dog show.... wait, you dont watch either? you watch football? the american kind? no wonder. ugh.

That's another thing. Why do we love (american) football so much? Is it really THAT important? It's just a bunch of very large men pummeling each other to the ground while throwing a ball. I, personally, still dont understand the rules... and every single event revolves around it.
Me: Hey do you want to come over?
Friend: Uhm, there's a FOOTBALL game.
Me: Oh... there is? uhm.. okay. I hope your team wins!
Friend: Mhm, we got this in the bag. *grunt*
Me: bye
Friend: go go go go gooooooo!!!!!!!!!
*click*

We need a better sport to be obsessed with. And need to be truly thankful, or stop faking it.

oh, hi there. (:

hello and welcome to my blog. Here I will post my ramblings, angst and whatever else is on my mind. I love puppies, cheese, kind people, and river otters. I dont like mean people, bad vibes, and other scary things. I am easily startled, although I love rollercoasters. I love sparklers.

I enjoy accents, particularly Australian and British ones.

On this blog of mine I hope to tell you interesting bits about my life. Or maybe only I find them interesting but oh well. I made this blog on a whim, and as you are sure to have figured out, my thoughts are all over the place.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so if you are going to be shoving your faces full of food, enjoy yourselves.

Tootle-oo!
