Whee blogging is fun!

This is going to be a veryveryvery short post, but I got the most fantastic gift evereverever from a friend today and I am happyhappyhappy! She made me this journal with my name on it and all scrapbooked and adorable. There are RHINESTONES. RHINESTONES. I know rhinestones are sometimes thought to not be that awesome, but they are. I would show you a picture, but it has my name on it. Anyway, I am very happy. I plan to use this lovely piece of lovely as a Junior year journal. Cute alliteration, I know. Thanks. Anyway. That's it.

I also got to voicechat the Tiakon today. She makes me happy. The end.

Oh, also. 5 more days of school left. 7 days until summer.

WHEEEEEEEE! Here I go!

I hope that you see right through my walls

That title right up there holds the 9 truest words ever. Isn't everyone hiding behind some sort of wall, but in reality, they just want to be seen and to be heard? Me thinks so. Even those who are so perfectly content with themselves and how they are still have a thin blanket in front of who they really are. Christina Perri gets me, guys. SHE GETS ME.

Anyway, I've been listening to Arms by Christina Perri for about 3 days now. Nonstop. And I'm still not tired of it. Something about her voice and the lyrics speak to me. Like, they really speak to me. Even though I feel like someone who is comfortable with myself, there are always times when someone asks me how I'm doing and I say "Great!" or "Awesome! Yourself?" and I'm actually feeling absolutely terrible and in reality I just want to curl up in a ball and melt. I want people to see through that, to ask again how I'm really doing. Hardly anyone ever does though. Which I guess I should be fine with, seeing as I did lie to them by saying I was okay. I just want people to know me well enough to be like "No darling, you aren't great. You're bluffing, and I know it. Tell me what is really going on."

There are 6 days of school left and I cannot believe it. I'm afraid that I'll lose friendships over the summer because I will be gone so much, but I'm also kind of excited to start off new and fresh next year.. Not that I want summer to be shorter or anything. I've been noticing people's personalities changing a lot recently, and it bothers me. Like, what are they going to be like when I get back from summer!? I talked to a friend about it, and she said she felt the same way about the same people, so at least someone gets me.

Alright, I think that's enough for now. See all of you after finals. You rock.

AND GO LISTEN TO THAT SONG. Seriously. You won't regret it.

Jessica, I don't know if you can access the tubes, but, if not, I'll send you a recording. I would go to such lengths. It's just that good.

"I hope that you catch me, cause I'm already falling" is also a fabulous working of Christina Perri's lyrical genius.

Gabi is looking out for this post, and here it is. Feel special, Gabs.

I've never called her "Gabs" before. (Hey gabi, I'm not talking about you behind your back)

Anyway, let's do this survey. Hard.
EDIT:Upon finishing this piece of turd, I realize that I was quite angsty. Sorry 'bout that.
Name?
I don't have a name. Well, not one for little internet creeps to know. If you are a good creep, you probably already know anyway.

Is your name on Blogger your name in real life? If not, what letter does your real name start with?

Uhm, no. Although I think Nala would be the best name ever, other than my real one, which starts with the same letter as Thailand.

Astrological sign?
Wait, people are supposed to know that? I think I'm Cancer. For a long time I thought I was a Gemini, but alas, I am not, and it depresses me.

If there was a huge 'Blogspot Get-Together' where all bloggers were meant to come together and meet in real-life, would you go?
Maybe. Depends. There are quite a few bloggers I would like to meet, but there are also a billion who I don't know. So, if I could just meet the ones I know, that would be cool. If I have to awkwardly sit with people I don't know, I wouldn't attend such a function.

Have you ever rejected someone?
Once. It was seventh grade. It was a good move.

If so, was it harshly?

Probably. I don't remember my wording. I just remember I felt mean and uncomfortable afterwords.

Did they cry?
No... At least not in my presence.

Have you ever tried a cigarette?
Oh goodness no. Cigarettes are quite possibly the number one grossest things ever. And they kill everyone, not just the smoker. I hate cigarettes.

Have you ever been high? If so, on what?

I've been high on life. That's it. No drugs for this kid.

What are six things you find attractive when in the opposite gender?
SIX?! You know, I watched the psychology seminar, and it was about how if someone has to name too many good things about a person, they will actually end up liking said person less. For example, Group A was asked to name 3 awesome traits about the person most special to them, and Group B was asked to name 10 awesome traits about the person who was most special to them. After the lists were compiled, both groups A and B had to rate how much they loved the person on a scale of 1-10. 1 being "eww, you're smelly and gross and a terrible excuse for a person" and 10 being "can we marry tomorrow?". Group A ranked their loves significantly higher than Group B.

So I might not put 6 things.
I like abdominal muscles.
I like someone who knows how to talk.
I like someone who is adventurous.
I like someone who is intelligent, maybe a little more than me.

Yep, you only get 4. Sorry bud.

What are five things you find extremely unattractive in the opposite gender?

Fake people. People who don't talk. People who are closed-minded.

Answer only if you have a sibling: If your sibling wasn't your sibling, do you think you'd ever find him/her attractive and go out with him/her?
I refuse to answer that. That is gross.

Would you ever eat a caterpillar?
No. I don't like these questions. Go away.

If yes, why?
I don't have to answer this.

If no, why?
GO AWAY, SURVEY MAKER. (I'm vegetarian, and caterpillar sounds icky)

Would you rather kiss a random stranger on the street of the opposite gender or tickle a random stranger on the street of the opposite gender?

This is so strange. I don't touch strangers. The end.

Would you rather throw up on stage or fart on stage?
You can't hide vomit. You can hide farts. The end.

Would you ever sneak out of the house at night?
Yes. I would. Not to do something illegal, but just for fun. Randomly.

Do you think this survey was weird?
I want to kill this survey. I don't care if I didn't answer your petty question. Angstangstangst.

Did you find it enjoyable?
No. Get out of my hair.

Which five bloggers will you be tagging to take this survey as well?
I won't make anyone do it. But if you want to, go for it. I'll love you and give you tons of cool points. (:
