Well isn't this a rarity? Me posting twice in two days! WHOO!
I'm posting because I AM SO FLIPPIN' EXCITED FOR SUMMER CAMP.
I'm going to an spanish immersion camp for 2 weeks, and AH! I am so excited. My thoughts are not coherent, so don't judge me. Actually, do judge me, I don't really care.
Anywho, camp is a couple of months away, but I feel like it is just around the corner. It'll be in the woods over the summer, and I hate bugs with all of my being, but luckily the places I will be they have cleared so there should be less. Usually in a situation like this I would be super nervous and awkward and scared to go somewhere where I know no one, but I'm actually really excited. I'm not afraid I won't make friends at all. I mean, how could I live with these people for two whole weeks and not talk to them?
Also, the camp is beauuuuutiful. Really, really pretty.
Most importantly, I love spanish more than life itself. A lot of people say they hate it because they are lazy and obnoxious. I love it because it is beautiful and so eloquent and because when I speak it I don't even realize that it isn't my first, or even second language. Being my third language I would think I would be like "EW, LANGUAGE. GET OFF ME". But I adore it. I am so bloody excited to be with people who feel the same way, and who aren't 50 year old teachers.
Plus, I'm going to a few Spanish speaking cruises later on in the summer after camp, and I'm going to be such a pro at speaking with the locals. That's pretty exciting. I mean, my dad already is fluent, so he could talk for me if I blank, but I totally won't blank.
If you actually followed this, props to you. I'm such a better writer than comes through on my blog. It's a bit frustrating, but these are basically my thoughts pouring from my brain to the keyboard. Yay.

PS. I also get to eat food from spanish speaking countries the WHOLE TIME. And...they are going to make all vegetarian meals for me. Now isn't that considerate? I think sooo.

Hello again.
I'm horribly sorry for not posting in weeks, but I know nearly no one reads this so I don't feel bad. Woops.
In the news: The last day for my student teacher was today. She made us cookies, and apparently it was the first time she had ever baked.. It was awkward. She came to class and was like "Ugh I made you guys cookies last night." I was surprised that she wasn't happy about making the cookies, if I were her, I would be like "YAY I GOT TO BAKE SUGARY TREATS!". So I asked her if she had fun and she said that it wasn't a good experience. Later on in class we were about to pass them out, and she was like "Did you know that cookies are bad for you? I thought they just had flour and water, but oh no! They have so much sugar and butter!"
...
Yes, I am being completely serious. None of that was exaggerated an ounce. I feel like I should mention that my teacher is a bit overweight, not obese or anything, but she is a bit plump. And now I understand why. She has no idea what is in her food. Heck, if I thought all was in cookies was flour and water, I would eat them for every single meal and not feel bad at all.
Anyway, these cookies were WEIRD LOOKING. They were really thick with a diameter of, oh, an inch and a half. So, pretty small for a cookie, but really thick. It was strange. They tasted... interesting, as a classmate put it when my student teacher asked for an opinion. Then our teacher told us that they might taste a bit different because... wait for it.............. they had wheat flour in them. SCANDAL! Ha, I kid. A bunch of people thought she said that they had "weed flour" in them. I laughed. Only my class would say that to a teacher.
Our class often makes drug references. Usually I wouldn't think it was funny, but my class is comprised of pretty much zero druggies, which is amazing because my school has lots of high people everyday. So on 4/20 we brought brownies and people joked that they were pot brownies, which they most definitely WERE NOT. I love the people in that class.
4/20 is a weird holiday. The smart ones among you are probably like "OH! HITLER'S BIRTHDAY!". If you think that, you probably have not been inducted into the high school life of an American. 4/20 is the day where a bunch of people are high and smoke marijuana in the bathroom. It's gross, but the thing I hate the most is that I can't always tell when someone is high. Like, if I'm going to be around someone whose brain isn't at a normal state, I would like to know so that I can be aware and such. Drunk people are so much easier to spot.
Nothing else of excitement has happened.. There are 12 class periods left until finals. Hoo boy. There are 4 until AP tests. I am not prepared. Oh well.

(insert some Mumford and Sons lyrics right here, because I couldn't choose any that I liked more than others)

It is so nice outside. Oh my goodness it makes me happy. Not too hot, and a cool breeze. I love it. A couple of my friends and I just sat outside yesterday after school and took in the sun. Twas fantastic.
Anywho, my darling Hannah (exchange student, not sparkler) is coming in just a few short days! Isn't that exciting!? I'm so pumped to see her. She is basically the older sister that I never get to see, which is pretty depressing. I'm pretty sure I already blogged about this exciting event a while ago though, so I'll stop blabbering for now.
On another note, school ends in like 7 weeks. Can you believe that?! I'm excited. Well, that doesn't include finals week, but finals week is kind of exciting.
Finally, my friend showed me this song, and if you want to get up and dance, you should totally listen! Click, my darlings! Cliiiiiiiiick :)
That is all for now.
